to the bracelet with 3D printing !
Last week we visited the technical platform composiTIC, it is specialized in the implementation of innovative composite materials design via automated processes around robotic fiber placement technology.
The aim of the technical platform composiTIC is to initiate research and development programs on design, qualification of eco-composite parts with complex shapes and the industrialization of their manufacturing. These works are realized in partnership with the main industrial actors of various sectors (automobile, sailing, marine industries, renewable marine energies...).
There we could see how all the machines and the creation of fiber works. The creation process of the fiber is not so easy, we must take into account manyparameters. Moreover we did several workshop to discover more precisely their job.
To put it in a nutshell we loved this visit to compositic, and we learned lot of new things. besides for some student on that afternoon in compositic help them intheir choice after baccalaureate.
