Lesson 12: Ionic & Covalent Bonding

    • Students will build molecular models (B2.6)
    • Students will write structural formulae for molecular and ionic compounds (B2.6)
  • Hook: To get students interested and thinking about how atoms bond, you can show the following videos:
  • Content: Lesson on Ionic & Molecular Bonding. This lesson will include the bonding continuum, electronegativity, ionic bond formation and covalent bond formation.
