  • Hook: The students will watch a video to explain Avogadro’s Law and the Ideal Gas Law. The video will show students the relationships between all variables in relation to Avogadro's Law.
  • Action: Action: Students will answer questions based on Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressures using on the board. This provides students with proper practice before moving on to their homework. The first example can be done as a class, the second can be done by a student volunteer and the third will be done individually and the method and answer will be taken up. This follows the gradual release method.
  • Debrief: Exit slip – Students will answer a question written on the board, perform the calculations and hand them in. This is one of the final checks for understanding before the unit test.
