George Washington was commander and chief of the Continental Army in the American Revolution. Washington became a national leader because he helped the colonists win in most of the battles. Washington was one of the Virginia's delegates that went to the First and Second Continental Congress. This meeting was about fighting the British together, all representatives from the different colonies were there. Later on, was when Washington was name chief of the Continental Army.
In this picture, you see George Washington, obviously, we are talking about him.Washington was really tall he measured like six feet. Ok, you could say, "there are people taller,"but the thing is that is was rare in those times that people were so tall. Washington looks professional with his uniform. Like I said before Washington was a really honorable man because of what he did with the army and how he did the best he could to fight against the British. That is why I chose this picture.
What is happening in this picture is the First Continental Congress. You will see a group of men all together listening to one another. The man that is standing up is George Washington. Probably, he is telling the other representatives about Pennsylvania and what they could use from there as a resource. I think does men were really into what Washington was telling them because as you may see Washington was really clever. He was one of the most recognized person as well as the most "patriot"person in the Revolutionary War.
As it says in the name, this YouTube video is an advertisement about the Dodge car brand. I chose this video because it shows George Washington fighting against the British. He wins the battle, but in a modern way. In the video, you see the British preparing to shoot and very confident about what are they doing. But, there comes George Washington at the end with the army but they are inside Dodge cars. So, they are coming to crash the British with the cars. That is why I say this is a modern way of fighting. It's really funny that's why I also chose it. At the end they say that there are a couple of things that America got right: cars and freedom. I think that is right!!
