Last month, had 25% YPT, now at 66%. Let's clean up remaining because they don't technically count for two-deep leadership.
Oct 12-14. Jubilee at Mahony Park. Still time to register. Cubs and Scouts.
Oct 6. Cub Scout Day of Awesomeness. Still need help at ranges. Contact Jason or Will.
Oct 19. Wood Badge banquet to raise money for scholarships.
Next Wood Badge course is happening this spring. Registration is open.
Mark Roper. Friends of Scouting Nov 1 to March 31 for presentations. Nov 1 before roundtable, 6:15 meeting for unit champions (at same location as roundtable). Each unit should have a unit representative attend that training. Doesn’t mean you have to present, but a key person in communicating to parents about FOS and to bring their checkbook.
Feedback on proposed Council Communication Plan.
Adult Leader Nominations are open (see below for announcement and form). Salt Shaker, Good Turn, Fundraising Hero, ..of the Year: Committee Chair, Commissioner, Cubmaster, Den Leader, Scoutmaster, Crew Advisor, District Award of Merit, Unit Leader, Fretwell Outstanding Educator Award (new for teachers or staff in schools—does not need to be in scouting), Veteran Award. Get nominations in by December roundtable.
Sat, Feb 2 is date for District Dinner.
Duty to God event. Dec 1, 2-4pm, Southwest High School. All ages (Cubs through Scouts). $15. Includes workbooks. Registration deadline is Nov 15. Opening with faith exposition. Then, a multi-faith service (all backgrounds). Break-out sections related to Cub Scout belt-loops or religious-specific awards.

Next roundtable on Nov 1 at 7 pm. Note, Dec roundtable will have a breakout session for forming Girl Troops.
