Hedwig and the angry inch is a Rock Musical that tells the story of a Transvestite German Rock Singer who had a surgery gone wrong. The entire Musical takes place within the confines of one of her performances at a small rock concert.

For this production, we were using the Armory Theatre, a small studio theatre on the University of Illinois Campus. Given the material, we wanted to emphasize the raw and dirty sound that is found in a typical dive bar.
