Recording/ Mastering Engineer - Audio Engineer/ Mixer

    I was thrown into a last-minute project for IJpan, a free form music group that specializes on playing Japanese instruments. The event needed reinforcement for the performance, a mix for a live televised feed, and a master recording for archival purposes. To add to the challenge, the performance connected to the shakuhachi master Akikazu Nakamura in Tokyo, Japan.

    The clips are a recording of Akikazu and a segment of the performance by Gene Coleman and Ensemble N_JP.
