NO LONGER NEEDED (Old information only):

Please email (M@MKostic.com) a preliminary "Estimate Quote" for the Andersen 100 Series (24 Total Single-Inserts: 18 Casement and 6 Fixed, white inside and outside) or similar (see dimensions and photos), before making an appointment to discuss any details and options, and to FINALIZE a Quote (in order to save our time).

Existing, 29+year-old casement Pella-windows (single family home in Sycamore, IL 60178), with outside aluminum-cladding and pine-wood frame (outer frame about 1-1.25" around will stay while the sashes with the inner-stops will be removed, see Figures and Photos below) are to be replaced with Casement Window-Inserts (PREFERABLY fiber-reinforced composite or vinyl, white inside & outside - Hines).

Replacement options for the 12 Openings, see Table and home PHOTOS below, with 24 old glass-sashes (S1, S2, or S4 with 1, 2 or 4 sashes (S4W|H=Lc+Rc+2Fix/ov|sd, 2 casement and  2 fixed inserts):

(1) 24 Inserts/Pocket (No Flange-Box windows - PREFERRED option) to be installed inside the Outer-frame of old windows,

(2) 12 Combined Box-windows within Outer-frame if partitions are cut off, or
(3) 12 Original-size windows if the old windows are completely removed.

Anderson 100 Series (Fibrex composite with wood fibers) <OR> Kolbe Forgent Series (Glastra composite with fiberglass) <OR>  Pela Impervia (Fiberglass) <OR>  Marvin Essential  (Ultrex fiberglass) <OR> Vinyl windows.

The 24 Pocket-windows, where NEW R.O. (the same size as the wood-sash frame when opened) is about 2.5" shorter (i.e., 1.25" around) than the Old FRAME dimensions (Tip-to-Tip or TtT). The NEW frame size depends on the clearance chosen (preferably as small as possible).  For example, for Dining-room 25"x65" Old-frame, the NEW R.O will be  22.5"x62.5"  (when inner, sash-stop frame and sashes are removed). Then, for 1/8" clearance it would be 22.25"x62.25" or for 1/4" clearance it would be 22"x62"). Or if 1.5/8th=0.1875" clearance-around within New-RO, then 22.125"x 62.125" NEW Pocket window frame dimensions. When Fixed-sash as a vertical or horizontal extension (about the size of matching sashes), then NEW RO needs to be verified (as if 1/4" narrower around, see photo). NOTE that in some Tables below are the initial approximate sizes.
