Use the following links to find the Sherlock Holmes stories you'll read for the week. There are a lot of different options, I would recommend reading a short story from one of the collections that are listed separately (The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, etc.)

You are required to read three different Sherlock Holmes stories from this collection for the week.

After reading three Sherlock Holmes short stories from the list above, I would like to do one discussion post where you answer the following questions about each story:

1. Summarize each story in five to eight sentences.

2. Describe what surprised you about each story. Did you see it coming? What did you think was going to happen compared to what did happen?

3. Compare and contrast the three different stories. What was similar or different about all three stories? (3-5 sentences)

After you have created your original post, respond to your classmates with at least two replies. You could compare how you interpreted the same story, tell what sounds interesting about their stories, or respectfully disagree or agree with their opinions about a story.

Remember to post your first post by Thursday so you have enough time to let people respond. Thanks.
