Wine Tasting

This group meets monthly at Anne's home at 2.00, usually on the third Thursday of the month. 

All Nottingham u3a members are welcome.

The session fee varies according to the cost of the wines and the number attending but will usually be around £5. 

Please bring your own glass. 

We ask members not to bring food to share, but you can bring your own snacks if you wish. It is also suggested that you bring a small bottle of water to cleanse your palate between tastings.

18th September The Wines of Eastern Europe

This month we will be exploring further afield than usual and will be looking at wines from the emerging (and more traditional) wine areas of Eastern Europe. So far, I’ve been promised wines from Hungary, Moldova and Georgia. I wonder how far east we will venture with the others? 

As usual we will be tasting two white wines and three red wines and making our views known as to whether we think these countries are worth searching for on the wine shelves.
