Wine Tasting

This group meets monthly at Anne's home at 2.00, usually on the third Thursday of the month.

All Nottingham u3a members are welcome.

The session fee varies according to the cost of the wines and the number attending but will usually be around £5. 

Please bring your own glass. 

We ask members not to bring food to share, but you can bring your own snacks if you wish. It is also suggested that you bring a small bottle of water to cleanse your palate between tastings.

20th August. What’s in a Year? 2023 versus 2024

This month’s tasting will explore the difference that specific years might make. Was the season particularly positive for the wine harvest? Does the harvesting at different times of the year (old v. new worlds) make a difference too?

Hopefully we shall find out by tasting our usual mix of two whites and three reds.
