This group meets monthly at Anne's home at 2.00, usually on the third Thursday of the month.
All Nottingham u3a members are welcome.
The session fee varies according to the cost of the wines and the number attending but will usually be around £5.
Please bring your own glass.
We ask members not to bring food to share, but you can bring your own snacks if you wish. It is also suggested that you bring a small bottle of water to cleanse your palate between tastings.

May 21st Wines from the Languedoc
I am rather excited about the wine group's theme for this month.
Not only is the Languedoc, in South West France, one of the largest wine growing regions in Europe but it’s very much the rising star of the wine world. Previously the Languedoc only provided the majority of ’table wine’ in France but now its quality wines are winning many awards near and far.
Also it's where I used to have a house - so there’s a fair chance I may even recognise most of the wines brought by our wonderful volunteers.
We will be following our usual tasting pattern of two whites and three reds.
Do come along and enjoy.
