Wine Tasting

This group meets monthly at Anne's home at 2.00, usually on the third Thursday of the month. 

All Nottingham U3A members are welcome. 

The session fee varies according to the cost of the wines and the number attending but will usually be around £5. 

Please bring your own glass. 

We ask members not to bring food to share, but you can bring your own snacks if you wish. It is also suggested that you bring a small bottle of water to cleanse your palate between tastings.

19th February Island Wines

Our wonderful world is FULL of islands - and islands are full of wine. This month we will be exploring wines that come from islands near and far.

There will be a small prize for the wine volunteer/contributor (you know who you are!) who brings the wine from the most unusual/unknown island.

As this is a democratic group - members will vote for the winner.  How far will we travel I wonder?

 We will be following our usual tasting pattern of two whites and three reds.
