Wine Tasting

This group meets monthly at Anne's home at 2.00, usually on the third Thursday of the month. In April the group will meet on the 5th Friday.

All Nottingham U3A members are welcome. 

The session fee varies according to the cost of the wines and the number attending but will usually be around £5. 

Please bring your own glass. 

We ask members not to bring food to share, but you can bring your own snacks if you wish. It is also suggested that you bring a small bottle of water to cleanse your palate between tastings.

30th April Portuguese Wines

Please note that due to my other commitments this month, our tasting is on the 5th Thursday of the month

After our outstanding tasting last month where we got the 'once in  a lifetime' opportunity to taste a £600 bottle of ancient Madeira (thank you Dave, our occasional wine guest, for your generous gift), we are moving to perhaps the cheapest and best value wine country in Europe - PORTUGAL!

Will this journey bring the taste and value we hope for? We shall see.
