Wine Tasting

This group meets monthly at Anne's home at 2.00, usually on the third Thursday of the month.

All Nottingham U3A members are welcome. 

The session fee varies according to the cost of the wines and the number attending but will usually be around £5. 

Please bring your own glass. 

We ask members not to bring food to share, but you can bring your own snacks if you wish. It is also suggested that you bring a small bottle of water to cleanse your palate between tastings.

17th September Take 2 Grapes - Chardonnay and Pinot Noir

As Anne will be unavailable on this date, regular wine group members Eddy and Michaela Keon have very kindly offered to host the September tasting. Please contact them directly re the wines you are bringing or any other details. The address of the venue and contact details can be found in the September bulletin which was emailed to members on 28th August.

This month the group will be exploring two of the most celebrated wine grapes in the world - Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Let's see how the choices of our members might allow us to compare and contrast differences in wines that use the same grape in different situations. We are still keeping to our usual formula of two whites and three reds.
