Always a lively topic when we discuss issues from any of the media.

24th August Joseph Paxton

Reading through a Bill Bryson book there was a mention of Joseph Paxton, gardener at Chatsworth House and his involvement with the building of Crystal Palace.  He sounded a very interesting character, so I’m going to dig out some research material and have a go at reviving the topic aspect of our meetings.  If anyone has any knowledge, books, or pictures, please bring to share with the group.
