History Group

We usually meet on Week 2 Tuesdays from 2.30 to 3.30

We decide as a group what to explore and how, and anyone is welcome to contribute to any of the topics. But people are very welcome just to come along and take part by listening or asking questions.

We're currently looking at members' family histories - with family stories from Britain, Poland, Russia, South Africa . . .  but soon we'll be moving on to find out about the history of Iran / Persia - following our exploration last year of the history of Syria.  We're hoping that Iran will prove as interesting and wide ranging as our look at Syria.

New members are always welcome - just turn up and join in!
