All members' meeting Friday 14th November from 11.00 in Room 4 at the ICC
We meet on Zoom on Week 2 Tuesdays from 2.00 to 3.20 pm
We stimulate discussion on philosophical topics by going to the horse’s mouth, reading the writings of a philosopher rather than a critic’s digest. At present we are considering the views of David Hume, quite probably Britain's greatest philosopher. To find out more about his exciting views, all you need to do is join in our reading and discussions once a fortnight. (The reading is of small chunks, not pages and pages. There is enough to consider and discuss without reams to read.)
Even if you only have a mild interest, please join us and I am confident that you will become an enthusiast. The ideas and discussions are exciting and enriching even if you disagree with them. Your disagreement will only stimulate further dialogue.
To join in, email me at u3aphilnot@gmail.com and I will send you an invitation.
