Answer: Think of five methods you could use to transmit a message. Describe each method.

Copy: Museums are full of things from bygone times.
Answer: Give an example of something from a bygone time. Describe it.

Copy: Renovate - verb - to make like new / synonym: to restore
Copy: The district spent over one million dollars to renovate the middle school.
Answer: Which of the following can be renovated?

B. A Christmas tree
Homework:
What structures in your town need to be renovated? How would renovating these structures benefit the community?
Day Three:

Copy: Bloat - verb - to swell or puff up
Copy: If I eat too much, my stomach will bloat.
Answer: Have you ever felt like you were bloated? Why did you feel this way? How did it feel?

Copy: Velocity - noun - a quickness of motion / synonym: speed
Copy: A plane travels at greater velocity than a car.

Answer: Name some things that travel at a low velocity.
Homework:
Think of five things that travel at a high velocity. Write a five paragraph essay that describes each thing in detail. Make sure to indent your paragraphs.

Copy: Dexterity - noun - skill in using the hands
Copy: After playing the piano for years, Kara has wonderful dexterity.
Answer: Which of the following activities require dexterity?

Answer: Write a paragraph about something that you do that requires dexterity.

Copy: Fickle - adjective - always changing in interests or loyalty
Copy: We were'nt surprised when Rachel switched teams at the last minute because she is often fickle.

Copy: A beautiful garland made of holly decorated our front door.
Answer: What materials might you use to make a Thanksgiving or Christmas garland?
Homework
Do your best to draw a garland. Write an accompanying paragraph that describes the materials that make up your garland.
