On November 20th, 1962, the Cuban Missle Crisis ended. The Cuban Missle Crisis is the arguably the closest the world has come to nuclear war. What would be the effects of a nuclear war? What would happen to the environment? What would happen to the human population? What would be the after effects? Explain.

On November 20th, 1925, former US Attorney General Robert Kennedy was born. Robert Kennedy was assassinated while running for US President in 1968. Much like his older brother, John, Robert was an outstanding speaker. While running for president he had to deliver the news of Martin Luther King's assassination to an inner city crowd in Indianapolis. The following excerpt from the Greek poet, Aeschylus, was included in his speech, ""In our sleep, pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart until, in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom through the awful grace of God." Former president, John F Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. Kennedy was known for many great things such as creating the legislation that would become the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Why are civil rights important in the United States. What types of things would happen without civil rights? What types of protests led to the creation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964?

What did they use for transportation? How would you describe their houses and buildings? Would you want to be alive during this time? Why or why not? Explain.

Actor Boris Karloff was born on November 23, 1887. Karloff is most famous for playing Frankenstein's Monster. Frankenstein's Monster was created by Dr. Frankenstein in Mary Shelley's book, Frankenstein. Do you think it would ever be possible for one human being to create another. How do you think they would go about doing this? Provide a drawing of Frankenstein's Monster for extra credit.
