You certainly won't be stuck for an evening's entertainment in early 1925.
There's always plenty of plays on Broadway. At the moment there's over 50 of them! If you like comedies, I'll Say She Is, at the Casino Theatre has been getting good reviews. This revue in two acts features the Marx Brothers, fresh from vaudeville and in their first Broadway stage show.
Or if you prefer musicals, there's plenty to choose from. For example Rose Marie, Lady Be Good, and My Girl are all playing.
And one mustn't forget that lavish extravaganza, the Ziegfeld Follies at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
Of course, if the play's not the thing, there's other things to do. For instance, the Fletcher Henderson Orchestra are currently playing at the Roseland Ballroom, 1658 Broadway at 51st Street. They've become very popular since gaining a new trumpeter, Louis Armstrong, who arrived from Chicago last year.
Or how about a going to a movie? No sound of course, but that's just the way movies are.
