David Dodge

David Dodge is an Associate Professor of Archaeology at the University of Sydney. He is is a good friend of Prof. Anthony Cowles and his daughter Ewa. His most noticeable features are his red hair and amazingly frecked forearms!

Dr Dodge had arranged to meet Rene Delaflote (decd) at the Victoria Hotel, Darwin, and assist in his search for the 'Lost City' in the Great Sandy Desert. He was persuaded (fairly easily) by the investigators to act as their guide in searching for the very same City.

David grew up in the Western Australia, and has extensive knowledge of the outback, Aboriginal culture and the Great Sandy Desert, all of which proved useful, as he was able to arrange transportation from Cuncudgerie to the Lost City, and to get the investigaotors there in (relative) safety.

After escaping the Lost City, David decided to travel with Power Boy and his tribe for a while, and so said his goodbyes to the other investigators at the New Lake.
