Fun Facts
The Brewers were 6 and 1 in regular season bobblehead giveaway games this season.
*You could get your hands on Willy Claus bobblehead in 2022 but he was connected to 2023 tickets. 2023 season seat holders were mailed one bobblehead as a holiday thank you. SSHs started getting theirs in the mail on December 8th. Or any fans could get a bobblehead if they purchased the Holiday 4 pack promotion. For every two seats in a four pack, fans could get one bobblehead. (Limit of 2 bobbles max). Tickets and bobbles could be ordered starting on November 14th and began arriving in mailboxes on November 17th. The last day to order the 4 pack was Dec 21st 2022. This bobble was given away in 2022, so I count him as a 2022 bobble, but technically he is connected to 2023 games.
Once again the Brewers offered a Season Seat Holder Exclusive Bobblehead; limit one per SSH account. This year was Corbin Burnes in the City Connect Jersey. The bobble was available for pickup starting April 21st through the end of the season. Once again, the "ticket" for pickup was loaded digitally to SSH accounts. Based on the numbers on the cases there appeared to be 5,112 of this bobble made.
The three main SGA bobblehead giveaways this season were given to the first 30,000 fans. Down from 35,000 in 2021 and 2022. The Brewers announced the three main bobble giveaways on November 29th 2022, but the players were announced as "to be determined." One Feb 13, 2023 the actual player names (Williams, Tellez & Contreras) were announced.
Ueck Skywalker was this year's Star Wars Night giveaway. The bobble was only given away to fans that bought a special theme night package. This version of Uecker is the 7th time the Brewers honored Bob with a bobblehead. (if you count Harry Doyle as a Uecker bobble).
Paige Spiranac is the brand ambassador for X-Golf (an indoor golf simulator). The Brewers added X-Golf to American Family Field during the 2022 season. Around the time it opened the Brewers had her throw out the first pitch. The Brewers brought her back for her own bobble night in 2023, where she again threw out the first pitch. The bobble was only given away to fans that bought a special theme night package.
On June 30, 2023 the 5th Indiana Jones movie, Dial of Destiny, was released in theaters. Thus it made sense for the Brewers to giveaway a special Craig Counsell as Indiana Jones bobble during an Indiana Jones theme night. The bobble was only given away to fans that bought a special theme night package.
The Cookie Monster giveaway game had a historic baseball moment that didn't go in the Brewers favor. Elly De La Cruz of the Reds stole second, third and home in the same inning, during the same plate appearance. Also the Brewers pitcher Abner Uribe made his major league debut at this game. The bobble itself is similar to last season's Elmo; however this flag he is holding is attached to the bobble. Last year it was separate. The back of this bobble also has a cool cookie on his shirt that you do not see in my main page photo from the front. The bobble was only given away to fans that bought a special theme night package.
Devin Williams did not get the save on his bobblehead day, but he did earn the win, pitching a scoreless 10th inning before the Brewers walked it off.
Rowdy Tellez did not play on his bobble day. His bobble features him and his two dogs because the bobble giveaway game fell on National Dog Day. The dog heads bobble on springs, just like the Rowdy head, making this a unique bobble. On the back of the bobble each of their names are listed. The white dog is Axel and the brown dog is Hogan.
On August 15th the Brewers put up for sale tickets to the Associated Bank Power Alley to get a signed version of the Contreras bobble. They posted the link on their Instragram story. So, besides the regular Contreras bobblehead, 42 autographed versions of it were given away in the special Associated Bank Power Alley ticket package. Contreras was 2 for 4 with a walk and a run scored on his bobble night.
