Fun Facts

  • The Brewers were 6-2 in bobblehead giveaway games this season.

  • The Brewers celebrated their 40th season in 2010. In order to celebrate this, they had a bobblehead to honor the biggest moment in each decade. Each of these four bobbles has a photo of the big moment behind the bobble attached to the bobble base. The Brewers did a similar theme during their 50th anniversary season (originally planned for 2020, but not given out until 2021 due to Covid pandemic)

  • 70's Hank Aaron hit his final HR #755 at County Stadium on July 20th 1976.

  • 80's Cecil Cooper hit a two out, two run single in the seventh inning when the Brewers were down 3-2. The Crew ended up beating the Angels in this final ALCS game 4-3 on October 10th 1982. The bobble pose is his famous motion with his hands for the ball to drop in for a hit and not be caught or be foul.

  • 90's Robing Yount hit his 3,000 career hit on September 9th, 1992 in County Stadium. A bobble to honor this feat was again given out in 2021.

  • 00's CC Sabathia pitched a complete game on September 28, 2008. The last regular season game of 2008. He gave up only 4 hits and no earned runs. The Brewers beat the Cubs 3-1 on Ryan Braun's 2 run home run in the bottom of the 8th. The bobble pose is CC's reaction as he walks off the mound after the final out.

  • The Miller Beer Vendor Bottle was given away to the first 15,000 fans 21 and older. Ushers at the gates were asking for either date of birth or an ID to prove age if the fan looked under 21.

  • Bernie Brewer Stitch N 'Pitch was given away on the fourth annual Stitch N' Pitch night, but it was the the first Stitch N' Pitch bobblehead given away to the first 1,000 needle artists purchasing tickets. Many bobble collectors did not know about this event and thus it is the hardest Stitch N' Pitch bobble to find. Many call it one of the "Holy Grails" of Brewer bobbleheads.
