Fun Facts

  • The Brewers were 8 and 2 in regular season bobblehead giveaway games this season.

  • The Pepsi mail-in bobble is certainly not an SGA. However, I display the 2001 and 2002 Pepsi mail-in bobbles with their counterparts, so I decided this mail-in should be displayed with my collection too. For this promotion you needed to buy 3 Pepsi mini can 10-packs between 3/18/19 and 5/31/19 then text a photo of the receipt.

  • This year's Season Seat Holder bobble was Lorenzo Cain wearing the 2018 Players Weekend Jersey doing his "Show The Love" sign he was known for. The Brewers offered one bobblehead exclusively per season ticket account. He was available for pickup April 15th to the end of the season.

  • 42 autographed versions of the Jesús Aguilar bobble were given away in the special Associated Bank Check Deck ticket package.

  • Christian Yelich had a nice bobblehead game. (With a few exceptions, historically Brewer players don't play, or don't play well, on their giveaway day) He went 2 for 4, including his MLB leading 24th HR of the season.

  • The Associated Bank Yelich is also not an SGA, but still is displayed in my collection. For one, he is a giveaway, albeit not at the stadium, plus he is not a retail bobble. He was 100% free. Another reason I display him is that he appears to be made from the same mold as the SGA this year. The similar bobble pose, but different uniform color, makes him a nice addition to my display. He was available to new Associated Bank Customers who signed up for a checking account between 8/1/19 and 10/31/19, or current customers who referred someone to open an account.

  • 42 autographed versions of the Josh Hader bobble were given away in the special Associated Bank Check Deck ticket package.

  • They ran out of Hader bobbleheads on the giveaway date, so some fans got a voucher to pick on up when a new order arrived. This photos is what the vouchers looked like:

  • The Scooby-Doo bobble was to honor Scooby's 50th Birthday. It is the first bobble given away at a Brewer game that was made by Juice Marketing. You needed a special ticket package to get this bobble and 5,004 bobbles were produced.

  • The August 25th Grandal bobblehead was first announced as TBD when the promotional information came out. However by January 30, 2019 the Brewers had updated the website to indicate the bobblehead would be Grandal. The Brewers officially announced the signing of Grandal on January 14th.

  • *You could get your hands on The Buddy the Elf bobblehead in 2019 but he was part of a 2020 ticket 4 pack promotion. For every two seats in a four pack, fans could get one bobblehead. (Limit of 2 bobbles max) . Tickets and bobbles began shipping out on November 21st and the last day to order the 4 pack was Dec 18th 2019. So he was given away in 2019, but technically connected to 2020 games. Personally I consider him a 2019 bobblehead because that is when he was available. Besides those connected 2020 games never happened due to the delayed season start.
