Fun Facts

  • The Brewers were 0-0 in regular season bobblehead giveaway games this season due to Covid-19.

  • *You could get your hands on The Buddy the Elf bobblehead in 2019 but he was part of a 2020 ticket 4 pack promotion. For every two seats in a four pack, fans could get one bobblehead. (Limit of 2 bobbles max) . Tickets and bobbles began shipping out on November 21st and the last day to order the 4 pack was Dec 18th 2019. He was given away in 2019 and I count him as a 2019 bobble, but technically he is connected to 2020 games. But those connected games never happened due to the Covid-19 delayed season.

  • Once again the Brewers offered a Season Seat Holder Exclusive Bobble. This year's SSH bobble was in honor Brandon representing the Brewers in the 2019 All Star Game. The Brewers offered one bobblehead exclusively per season ticket account. He was originally going to be available for pickup starting April 9th. Due to the delayed season, SSH were first able to schedule a time to pick him up starting July 23rd. A total of 5 pickup day options were offered by the Brewers: July 23rd, 24th, 27th, 29th and August 15th.

  • Associated Bank offered a free Yelich Bobble for the second straight year to new customers, or current customers who referred someone, who opened a checking account between July 15th and October 29th. This bobblehead is commemorating his 40 HR and 30 Stolen Base season from 2019. Though you could sign up for the account starting July 15th, people didn't start to get their bobble in the mail until mid August. Of course this is not an SGA, but still is displayed in my collection. For one, he is a free giveaway, from a Brewer partner, just not given out at the stadium. He is certainly not a retail bobblehead. So he falls in a gray area. Similar to the '01, '02, and '19Pepsi Mail-Ins and last year's Associated Bank Yelich. So I count him in my collection. Besides, there were very few 2020 bobbleheads, so it was nice to have this one added. This bobblehead is NEARLY identical to the 2021 Stolen Base SGA from 2021. However there are two slight differences. The 2021 version has a box that says Bobble 2 of a 2-Bobble Set. The Bank giveaway from 2020 does not say that on the box. Also, on the bottom of the bobblehead the 2020 version says BDA/MLB 2020 under it but the 2021 version says BDA/MLBP 2020 on it.

  • *You could get your hands on the Mini Yeli Claus bobblehead in 2020 in two different ways. He was part of a 2021 Holiday ticket 4 pack promotion. For every two seats in a four pack, fans could get one bobblehead. (Limit of 2 bobbles max) . The last day to order the 4 pack was Dec 17th 2020. He started arriving in mailboxes on December 9th. So he was given away in 2020, and it is printed as "2020 Collectors Edition" underneath where BDA Sports marks bobbles, thus I count him as a 2020 bobble, but technically he was connected to 2021 games. The other way to get him was to be a 2021 Season Seat Holder. The Brewers sent the bobble as a gift to SSH as the thank you gift this year.

  • The announced 2020 bobbleheads to be given away never happened this year due to the Coronavirus causing a delay to the season. When the season finally began on July 23rd, no fans attended games, so no bobbles could be given away. However many were handed out in 2021.

These photos are of tickets for the intended 2020 bobblehead giveaway games. I store them in my ticket collection with the actual giveaway game tickets from the 2021 games.
