Fun Facts

  • The Brewers were 10 and 3 in regular season bobblehead giveaway games this season.

  • The Brewers were 1 and 1 in regular season Gnome giveaway games this season.

  • Rob Deer's bobblehead is to honor the famous home run he hit on Easter Sunday: April 19th, 1987. The Brewers had won 11 games in a row to start the season, but they were losing in the bottom of the 9th inning 4-1. Rob hit a 3 run home run to tie the game. The bobble is in the pose he made as he ran the bases. Dale Sveum would end up winning the game with a two run home run later in the inning. The Brewers would win their next game too, bringing their record to 13-0 before losing their first game of the season.

  • The Jonathan Lucroy 2014 All Star Batting Practice Jersey Bobblehead was a 2015 Season Seat Holder benefit. The Brewers offered one bobblehead exclusively per season ticket account. This was the second exclusive SSH bobble given away but the first time they sent a voucher that needed to be turned in to pick it up. For the first year a SSH bobble was given away they just checked names off a list when the bobble was picked up.

  • The Jedi Luc bobble was given out to the first 5,000 fans to buy tickets in a special section for the Brewers first ever Star Wars Night at Miller Park.

  • This year's Stitch N' Pitch was for the first 1,400 fans. Instead of finishing off the racing sausage theme from previous years, they went with Hank the Dog.

  • Carlos Gomez had the only hit for the Brewers on his bobblehead day against the Nationals. He was not proud of the hit because it was a bloop single. The Crew lost 4 to 0 with only one hit off of Max Scherzer. They also produced one walk and 16 strikeouts. Scherzer threw a no hitter against the Pirates on his next start. Gomez was traded on July 30th 2015 to the Houston Astros.

  • This year's Paul Molitor bobblehead was given away when the Twins were in town. This was Molitor's first year as manager of the Twins, so this was his first series at Miller Park facing his former team as manager of the Twins.

  • Khris Davis drove in the first two runs for the Brewers when he hit a 2 run double in the 7th inning on his bobblehead day to give the Brewers the lead. The Brewers never trailed again and beat the Pirates by a score of 6-1. 60 autographed versions of the Khris Davis bobble were given away in the special Miller Lite Deck ticket package. What is unique about this autographed version is that it does come with an MLB Authenticate hologram. Of all of the Lite Deck/Check Deck versions this is one of the hardest to find.

  • The talking Harry Doyle bobble was given away to fans who purchased a seat in some special sections for the game. The inter-league series against the Cleveland Indians was a good time to honor this famous movie character played by Bob Uecker. Harry was the Indians announcer in the movie Major League, Major League II and Major League: Back to the Minors. I heard there were about 8,000 of this bobble given away. The phrases include, "Just a bit outside." "Personally, I think we got hosed on that call." "The Duke led the American League this year in saves, ERA and hit batsmen. This guy once threw at his own kid in a father-son game." "Haywood swings and crushes one towards South America. Tomlinson's gonna need a visa to catch that one."

  • The August 9th Bob Uecker was the 4th time the Brewers honored Bob with a bobblehead. (if you count Harry Doyle a few weeks prior). This bobblehead is modeled after the statue of Bob in last row of section 422 in Miller Park. The seat is in reference to some Miller Lite commercials he did where he would say "I must be in the front row." The area of Miller Park is also known as the Uecker Seats because of this.

  • This year's Lucroy bobble was made to honor the doubles record he set as a catcher during the 2014 season. He hit his 46th double as a catcher on September 27th 2014. He also hit 53 doubles total in the season to lead the league. The pose, and jersey, for this bobble are a replica of his reaction at second base when he hit is 46th double against the Cubs.
