mcjDropToTop DS 1,2,3,4

The idea for this script was suggested by TugPsx fro the Daz3D forums

A Zip file containing the script(s) can be found at the bottom of this page, in the "attachments" section

Unzip this file in your Daz Contents folder, typically this means

c:\program files\daz\studio\content.

On Windows 7 it's more likely something like

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio3\content

Once installed you will find the script in your library, in Studio/scripts/mCasual

1 select the target, example, a table

2 select an object that will fall on the top of the bounding box of the Table, example, a cup

3 launch the mcjDropToTop script

the script will move the bottom of the bounding box of the cup

to the top of the bounding box of the table

Special cases

if the target object is something like a bowl, the cup will not reach the surface on the bowl

in a case like that, you should create a primitive plane, hide it at the bottom of the bowl

and use that plane as the target

DeltaX15's MoveOrigin script found here
