7:25b Ἄρα οὖν αὐτὸς ἐγὼ

τῷ μὲν νοῒ δουλεύω νόμῳ θεοῦ

8:1 Οὐδὲν ἄρα νῦν κατάκριμα

8:9 Ὑμεῖς δὲ οὐκ ἐστὲ

8:18 Λογίζομαι γὰρ ὅτι οὐκ ἄξια

τὰ παθήματα τοῦ νῦν καιροῦ

But the prefix ἀπό refers also to time, so that it signifies constancy in expecting; hence, the noun, found in Paul alone and twice, denotes), anxious (?) and persistent expectation: Also Philippians 1:20: Thayer.

7:23 Now I see another law in my members, waging war against the law of my mind, and taking me captive in the law of sin which is in my members.

7:24 I [am] a wretched man! Who will rescue me from the body of this death.

7:25 Now thanks [be] to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

7:25b Therefore, then, I myself in my mind am enslaved to the law of God, but in the flesh [I am enslaved] to [the] law of sin.

8:1 Therefore, now [there is] no condemnation to those [who are] in Christ,

8:2 for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus freed you from the law of sin and death.

8:3 For the inability of the law, in which it was weakened through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in [the] likeness of [the] flesh of sin and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

8:4 so that the justification of the law might be fulfilled in us, those who walk not according to [the] flesh, but according to [the] Spirit.

8:5 For those existing according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those of the Spirit [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit.

8:6 For the mind of the flesh [is] death, but the mind of the Spirit [is] life and peace.

8:7 Because the mind of the flesh [is] hostile toward God, for it does not submit to the law of God, for neither is it able [to do so].

8:8 And those existing in [the] flesh are not able to please God.

8:9 But [all of] you are not in [the] flesh but in [the] Spirit, since/if indeed [the] Spirit of God lives in you [all]. And if someone does not have [the] Spirit of Christ, this one is not of him.

8:10 But if Christ [is] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.

8:11 And if the Spirit raising Jesus from [the] dead lives in you, the one raising Christ from the dead also will make alive your mortal bodies through his Spirit living in you [all].

8:12 Therefore, then, brothers, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to [the] flesh.

8:13 For if you live according to [the] flesh, you are going to die, but if by [the] Spirit you are putting to death the practices of the body you will live.

8:14 For as many as are being led by [the] Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

8:15 For we did not receive a spirit of slavery again into fear, but we have received [the] Spirit of adoption, in whom we cry, ‘Abba, Father’.

8:16 The same Spirit testifies to our Spirit that we are children of God.

8:17 And if children, also heirs; heirs of God, but co-heirs of Christ, since indeed we are suffering along with [him], so that also we might be glorified along with [him].

8:18 For we consider that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] to the glory going to be revealed to us.

8:19 For the eager expectation of the creation is patiently waiting for the revelation of the sons of God.

8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not voluntarily, but because of the one subjecting [it], on the basis of] hope,

8:21 that the creation itself will be liberated from the slavery of decomposition into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

8:22 For we know that all the creation together groans and experiences the agony of birth pain together up until the present,

8:23 and not only [this] but also we ourselves who have the firstfruit of the Spirit, we ourselves groan in ourselves as we patiently await adoption, the redemption of our body.

8:24 For in th[is] hope we were saved. But seen hope is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees?

8:25 But if we hope for that which we do not see, we patiently await [it] through perseverance.

8:26 And in the same way also the Spirit helps [us] in our weakness. For we do not know what we should pray for as is necessary, but the Spirit himself intercedes with inexpressible groans.

8:27 And the one searching the heart knows what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he entreats according to God on behalf of the saints.

8:28And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good for those who are called according to [his] purpose.

8:29 For [those] whom he foreknew he also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be [the] firstborn among many brothers.

8:30 And [those] whom he predestined, these also he called. And [those] whom he called, these also he justified. And [those] whom he justified, these also he glorified.

8:31 Therefore, what will we say to these [things]? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us?

8:32 [He] who did not even spare his own Son, but delivered him up on behalf of us all, how will he not graciously grant to us together with him all things?

8:33 Who will accuse [us] against the elect of God? God, the one who justifies.

8:34 Who [is] is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus, the one who died, but more [than that], having been raised, who also is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [Shall] trouble or distress or persecution or hunger or nakedness or danger or sword? 36Just as it is written, that ‘For your sake the whole day [long] we are considered as sheep for slaughter.

8:37 Nevertheless, in all these things we are super-conquerors through the one who loved us,

8:38 for I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor rulers, nor present things nor things going to be nor powers

8:39 nor height nor depths nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God the one in Christ Jesus our Lord.
