EDUCATION TRANSFORMATION – North
Education Transformation is a concept or a belief that Learning Links Foundation nurtures. Collaborating with multi lateral organizations, we support efforts of governments to improve the quality of their education systems with a holistic model for education transformation.
We focus on inclusion and innovation and have forged strategic relationships with key stakeholders of government, universities, apex bodies and NGOs for Education Initiatives. As consultants and advisors we conceptualize and implement programs that enhances vocational skills and promotes positive business environment. Our efforts aid in shaping the long term vision of state governments in India, and drive policy initiatives related to_pedagogy, ICT, curriculum and education.
The efforts have resulted in enabling education transformation across the country by leveraging technology for improving quality of education through professional development, curriculum integration, content development and also developing nodal schools across the country to promote education transformation. A welcome fallout of our efforts has digital inclusion in departments other than education, like Department of Women and Child Development, Directorate of Employment & Training, IT, e-Governance, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms and Department of Panchayat Raj.
Academy for Expertise in Educational Technology (formerly Ed Academy) — Learning Links Foundation under the umbrella of Academy for Expertise in Educational Technology conducts a series of workshops that aim to build ICT capacities in teachers and teacher educators from across the country. Eminent education experts from Jamia Millia University, Delhi University, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), together with technology experts from program partner, have designed a special curriculum for these workshops.
We aid and assist professional development of educators. In India, more than 18 lakh teachers across the country have successfully completed their training. The specially designed curricula equips K-12 teachers to transform their classrooms by engaging students in project-based lessons, supports inquiry based learning and integrates technology that develops critical thinking collaboration, creativity, and communication among children.
With more than 10 million teachers trained in 70 countries, this is one of the largest and most successful programmes of its kind, worldwide.
We have also engaged in developing school leaders by organizing Principals Leadership Technology Forum that assists school principals in promoting and supporting the integration of technology for the professional development of teachers and the strengthening of student accomplishment.
