Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2015
Government of Gujarat organized 7th Vibrant Gujarat Event 2015 and Global Trade Show exhibition from 7th January, 2015 to 13th January, 2015. Various thematic pavilions including education pavilion were set up for public exhibition. More than 1300 companies participated in the trade show. The global trade show was inaugurated by honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat Smt. Anandiben Patel on 7th evening.
Learning Links Foundation participated in the exhibition and set up a stall at education pavilion at the event. The LLF stall showcased the Assessment reform project and EMIS with the aim of reaching out to Government officials, Government Ministers, delegates, teachers, universities and others. This was the only stall to have school students and a teacher, who presented their thoughts about the impact of the project. It attracted many visitors from the education sector.
Visit by Shri Bhupender Singh Chaudasma, Education Minister, Govt. of Gujarat
Hon. Education Minister Shri. Bhupendras Singh Chudasama visited the Learning Links Foundation stall. LLF shared the project objectives, the implementation framework and the impact of the project. Hon. Minister also interacted with the students and the teachers at the stall and enquired about the benefits of the project. He advised them to make best use of the project. The Hon. Minister wished us success and reiterated his support.
Visit by Education Minister State
Hon. Minister of State, Education, Shri. Nanubhai Vanani visited the stall on 12th January, 2014. The teacher at the stall explained the details of the project and the impact of the project on classroom teaching. The Hon. Minister appreciated the EMIS as it will benefit both teachers and administrators.
Visit by Education Department Officials
Many officials from state and district visited the stall and appreciated the project initiative. DPEOs and DEOs liked the concept of assessment as change agent in the
classroom and shared willingness to support the program in their respective districts and blocks. Primary and secondary school teachers from other blocks visited the stall and discussed about SCE and how they can learn more about using assessment data to improve student learning outcomes.
