Prospective Members
Hello, from Joe Oliva, Gaffers' new member coordinator.
Many thanks for your interest in the Doon Valley Senior Men's Golf League “the Gaffers”. The following paragraphs will explain how we welcome prospective members to the league and how you can help.
If you want to just 'chat' about our league before you apply, you are welcome to contact me, details are below the form.
Introduction
It is open to men over 55 and we play on Wednesday mornings at the Doon Valley Championship 18 hole course.
Fees
The League membership fee for 2024 is $50
The membership fee is distributed at the end of the season, to the winners of our various events as listed on our web site. https://sites.google.com/site/kitchenergaffers/tournaments.
Joining
The League is operated by a group of volunteers and you will find a Golf Committee list on this web site.
While most of the Gaffers are also members of Kitchener Golf, that is not a prerequisite to play in our League. Gaffer Members may also pay as they play. However, if you wish to take out a Kitchener Golf membership, it is separate from our membership and you should contact Kitchener Golf to make those arrangements.
Once we have the information you will be entered into our system and you will receive all future emails sent out by the League.
In the event that our membership is full (60) you will be added as a prospective member in case others decide not to play.
Emails through the winter normally include information about our 2024 opening date.
