Bookings & Cancellations
Rob Worsnop is responsible for the coordination of all tee time bookings and cancellations for our Wednesday League play. Below is the latest tee sheet followed by brief descriptions of how Rob in manages the bookings. For the subsequent week click here Subsequent week tee sheet
Absences
If you are aware of future dates you will not be able to play due to trips, appointments, etc use the 'Absence Alert' button at the top left side of your Dashboard. It will advise Rob and he will make sure your name is not on the tee sheet for those dates as it tracks all absentees.
Rob will not book players in the upcoming week if they have been 'no shows' (unannounced absence) for two consecutive weeks. If you are unable to play for some reason, Use the Absence Alert button on your Dashboard preferably, to inform Rob.
Bookings
Each week, in the wee hours of Friday morning an email will be sent to your registered email address from KitchenerGaffers@gmail.com identifying who else is in your group (or whether you are expected to be Absent). It will also advise whether you are due to play a Match against one of the others in your group.
A new email will also be sent Tuesday morning so you have the latest available information.
You will probably also see an email from KitchenerGolf (Chronogolf) which will confirm that you are booked with the Pro Shop.
Cancellations
Use the Absence Alert button to inform Rob that you will not be able to play. This can be done at any time, even close to the tee time, however, it alone will not cancel the KitchenerGolf booking for you.
If you have received, or subsequently receive a Booking Notice from KitchenerGolf, cancel your tee time. You may have to call into the ProShop if you cannot do it online. When calling, make sure that they know it is just your individual time that is to be cancelled and request that they send an email update to all the group in the same time slot. That will alert the others in your group that you will be absent. Cancellations must be done 4 hours prior to the tee time. In the case of a sudden emergency or inclement weather, you can still cancel by calling the Pro Shop.

Bookings will be scheduled based as much as possible on the preferences Rob gathered previously from all members
There will be occasions when players/groups will be moved around in order to accommodate fairly all the different preferences which were received.
Normally, all names will be entered into KitchenerGolf's booking system by 7:00 pm Tuesday, the day before the play date. using the block of times reserved for Gaffers.
Bookings are done by the Pro Shop based on the report above. Once your name is booked you will receive a confirmation email from KitchenerGolf. You will also get an email from Gaffers on the Tuesday morning prior to play indicating all the players in your group.
On the Terms and Conditions of membership for KitchenerGolf (or as one of the Gaffers) you may be charged for any "No Shows" so keep emails confirming your cancellations, or ask the name of the assistant if you had to make a last-minute call to the Pro Shop.
