Minor (A) Hurling.

Our minor hurlers who are almost all young enough for next year, put up a great performance, but were beaten by Cashel King Cormacs in the West semifinal in Golden on Wednesday last. Kickhams 0.09 Cashel 2.13

Our Intermediate Footballers played Cappawhite on Sunday morning, we struggled to field a team. Cappawhite 2.14 Kickhams 0.05

Juvenile GAA.

U12 Hurling:

Our under 12`C played their West Final on Sunday evening against Rosegreen. They came out strong winners on a score of 4-09 to 0-00. They played a termendous game showing all the skills of hurling. They were presented their medals on the night by West Board Pro Tommy Fitzgerald.

U/14 Hurling.

Our U14`s bowed out of the Championship on Monday night beaten in the West Semi-Final by Galtee/Aherlow.

NEW DOUBLE DRAW BONANZA

A new double draw bonanza with fantastic prizes has been launched in aid of the training fund for the county hurling and football teams.

The prizes include a trip for 2 to Australia for 2 weeks for the compromise rules games in October, a holiday for 2 to San Francisco with the All Stars in late November, tickets for the All Ireland senior hurling and football finals and tickets for all Tipperary’s senior football and hurling championship games next year. Tickets cost only €10 each and are available from the club website,Your support for this draw will provide much needed funding to continue training and preparing our teams to the high standards necessary to achieve success.

Cup for the road morning

A"Cup for the Road" coffee morning and cake sale will take place in a marquee in the car park beside Bertie's Bar, Dundrum on Saturday next, 3rd September from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Delicious homemade cakes for sale. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Donation of home baked cakes, bread or buns, etc. would be most welcome. All proceeds to Dundrum Tidy Towns. Up Tipp!!

Over the last number of years and in the past several Months in particular, The volunteers of Dundrum Tidy towns have done a wonderful job and carried out a lot of improvements to the village and its environs with much done including rubbish collecting, new flower pots, baskets, tubs and beds as well as the new green road project, the renovation of the old shop at the Gurtussa crossroads and much much more. There are

great plans for the winter months. That is why it is so important that you give this fundraising event your generous support as without your financial assistance this work can not continue.

Badminton returns.

Badminton resumes for the winter months in the Scout Centre Dundrum on Monday next the 5th of September from 8pm and will continue every Monday and Thursday night until May. It’s a great way to have fun and keep fit at the same time. So come along on Monday and Thursday nights. All are welcome.
