Senior Hurling.

Co League

Our seniors put up a great display in the first half of their match away to Portroe and were deserving of their lead of 1-10 to 1-6 at half time. However almost within a minute of the restart

the north reps had pulled level with a goal and a point. This really rattled our lads and unsettled them for a while, but they never gave up and matched their opponents in all positions, however

it was the portroe team’s ability to take their goal chances that gave the final score a very lobsided look to what had been a cracking even tussle for a lot of the duration. The final score was

Portroe 5-15 Kickhams 1-13.

JuniorHurling

Co League

Kickhams junior hurlers were beaten by St Patricks in Cloneen on Sunday morning last. This was tight game that had both sides level at the break on the score 1-3 to 0-6. The second half was an

equally tight affair but the outcome of the game was decided by two more goals from the south reps who emerged victorious on the score St Patricks 3-10 Kickhams 0-14.
