Kickhams are currently selling the national GAA draw, Tickets are 10 euro and all proceeds remains with our club, There are great prizes which include trips to Australia, Boston & New York also various GAA related weekends.

We ask you to support this venture, tickets available from officers & players, All draw tickets to be returned to Margaret Hayes or Pat Mc Cormack by weekend.

SENIOR HURLING.

We wish the very best of luck to our senior hurlers who play their first game in the Co. League away to Holycross/Ballycahill on Sunday next. Check fixtures list to confirm time etc.

Congrats to Erena Fryday on the great Ashbourne cup win with UL over WIT last weekend on the score UL 0-12 to WIT 1-08.

KICKHAMS JUVENILES.

U/14 FOOTBALL.

Both our U/14 teams had good wins on Sunday last. The A’S beat Galtee Rovers and the B’s beat Cashel King Cormacs. Well done to all concerned

IMPORTANT DATES.

The dates have been agreed for some important events in The Kickhams Juvenile GAA Calendar. They are as follows: The Sponsored Cycle will be held on Sunday 11th of May, the Under 12 Hurling tournament is fixed for Saturday June 7th and Camp Kickham will be on from July 21st to 28th.

BADMINTON CLUB.

New members are badly needed for the badminton Club which continues every Monday and Thursday night from 8pm in the Scout Centre Dundrum. This is a great sport and the facilities at the Scout Centre are second to none. It would be a great shame to see the club fold.

PIONEER DINNER DANCE.

The annual Cashel region Pioneer total abstinence Association Dinner Dance will be held in Dundrum House Hotel on Saturday next the 1st of March. Dinner is at 8.30pm and is followed by dancing to the music of Adrian Ryan. Tickets cost 25 euro and are available from Mary Morrissey @ 062-71594 or 087- 2954891.

KNOCKAVILLA COMMUNITY COUNCIL

COMMUNITY ALERT MEETING

FACE BOOK.

Knockavilla Community Council now has a Face book page where you can keep up to date with all the activities involving the community council and the hall in Knockavilla.

DEFIBRILLATOR COLLECTION

The Community Council are continuing their campaign to collect all used mobile phones to help us to get a defibrillator put in place in Knockavilla village. There are collection boxes in all the local shops in Knockavilla and Dundrum, and also in Knockavilla church to facilitate the collections. Remember, if any one received a new phone over the Christmas maybe the old phone could be donated to this cause.

HALL AVAILABLE

The community hall in Knockavilla is now available for hire for any activity either for parish groups or to families for

various occasions. The committee can also facilitate the use of an indoor bouncy castle for children’s birthday parties.

ENROLMENT FOR 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR

Parents/Guardians who are interested in enrolling their child/children in Scoil Mhuire National School Knockavilla are requested to contact the school office at 062 71533 for application forms.
