Co. Leagues. The Co. hurling leagues were back last weekend .Both our teams were at home for their opening matches. Our juniors had a great win over a strong Ballylooby team in a cracking game in their first round game on the score 2-15 to 2-13. There were some very good performances by Kickham players in this one and the senior ranks could be beckoning for some. They travel to Cloneen on Sunday next for their second round game with St Patricks throw in @ 12pm.

Our seniors were beaten by Borrisokane in their first round game on the score 3-18 to 0-10. We were missing a number of players for this one, but some of those that did play will surely have to show improvement in the coming weeks as the West championship is not far away.We play Golden Kilfeacle in the next round in Dundrum on St Patricks Day at 12pm. We wish both our teams the very best and we look forward to plenty of support on both days.

U/21(B) Football. Our U/21 footballers play Aherlow in the West semifinal in New Inn on Saturday next at 2.30pm. Aherlow are a very strong team with a sprinkling of County players but if our lads play to their potential they will make a great game of it and hopefully claim a place in the final. We really need your support for this one so please travel and shout your Parish on.
