U/21(B) Football. Our U/21 footballers played Eire Og Annacarty in Cappawhite on Saturday last. After a first half in which we played well but also missed a share of goal chances in particular we still went in at the break leading by two points .However in the second half we really struggled to overcome a determined opposition, and in the end we were fortunate to get the draw which was enough to see us progress to the semifinal stages. We are a nice team to watch and have some talented footballers in our side but fancy stuff alone does not win matches never mind West titles in any grade. Players must look at this overall performance, learn from it,be more ruthless in front of goal and then further progress may be achieved in this competition.Well done to all concerned.

Best of luck lads Best of luck to our club reps on the Cashel Community School senior hurling team who play Connacht Champions Loughrea in the All Ireland (B) hurling semi final in The Gaelic Grounds Limerick on Saturday next@ 2pm. they are Damian Hayes, Cathal Morrissey, Dean Thompson, Patrick Ryan, Gary Heelan, and Padraig Slattery.
