So this covers building the SRX.
SRX 3400
This is the front.
SFB comes by default and will have
8 RJ-45 10/100/1000 ports.
4 SFPs
So roughly 12 Gbps.
To run this SFB every device must have one SPC and one NPC at least.
Each device has one RE only. The second RE slot is if you want the CRM to run High availability.
After that you have 7 slots. So you can mix.
2 NPC + 2 SPC + 2 IOC or
3 SPC + 4 NP-IOC.
Basically the mixture you choose will affect the performance.
The Blue is for the SRX3400
NPC is a network Processor, you need one per IO
SRX3K-NPC
SPC is the Services Processor, this does the math. You need them to up the performance.
SRX3K-SPC-1-10-40
IO are Input Output cards.
SRX3K-16GE-SFP
SRX3K-16GE-TX
SRX3K-2XGE-XFP
There is a BRAND NEW card which has the NPC built into the IO. {Saves you a slot}
SRX1K3K-NP-2XGE-SFPP
SRX3600
Same thing for SRX3600.
The changes are.
4 Power supplies instead of 2.
12 slots. Again in a slot you can put in SPCs, NPCs, or IOCs anyway pretty self explanatory using the images.
You can use the same table as before.
This time the WHITE refers to the max of the SRX3600s
Both of the above can be clustered using a Module.
SRX3K-CRM
This goes into RE1 slot.
