4500X

This switch runs VSS.

So it leverages the 6500 tech in a small form factor.

It comes in two form factors.

16 ports = WS-C4500X-16SFP+

and

32 ports = WS-C4500X-32SFP+

The above can be upgraded by getting an 8 port Uplink Module.

So far it is nice.

But they also have bundles.

WS-C4500X-16SFP+ This is a front to back, 16 ports, IPBase

WS-C4500X-24X-IPB This is a front to back, 16 + 8 port module, IPBase

WS-C4500X-24X-ES This is a front to back, 16 + 8 port module, Enterprise Services

WS-C4500X-32SFP+ This is front to back, 32 ports, IPBase

WS-C4500X-40X-ES This is front to back, 32 + 8 port module, Enterprise Services

For back to front

WS-C4500X-F-32SFP+ back to front, 32 ports, IPBase

None of the above have Power Supplies.

So you just add them.
