X47xx are 48 Gbps capable only the 10G SFP+ is oversubscribed.

X46xx are 24 Gbps capable so some model obviously are oversubscribed.

Equivalent X46xx are cheaper than the X47xx so you can pitch them for low end campus to shave some change.
