Freedom, John. (2013) Heal Yourself with Emotional Freedom Technique Hodder & Stoughton London
I enjoyed reading this book. Whilst I already knew the basic technique of 'tapping' this book gave great information and insight into how the use of 'tapping.' Indeed it gave some background into the development mentioning different versions of essentially the same method. Reminding us of the 'layers' and 'web' aspect of beliefs and energy blocks so we can appreciate the value in repeating similar thoughts and emotions as we connect with other aspects of the same theme. Also provided information on overcoming the more resistant larger blocks.
It was well worth the read and a great book for on the shelf access to information on releasing energy, emotions and unlearning so one can move forward. I am increasingly aware and embracing the value and importance on 'unlearning' for ones continued growth. With this type of information 'unlearning' and overcoming 'inner conflicts' or 'double binds' is becoming easier.
Huther, Gerald. PhD. (2006) The Compassionate Brain: How empathy creates intelligence. Trumpeter Boston & London
While at first I thought it was a little slow, this is actually a powerful book. Talking of the importance and challenge of growth of the human brain, of our evolution. Also of the cycle of growth and development. I plan to reread this, for its value, something I rarely do.
