Mark 14:51–52 is one of the most mysterious passages in the Gospels. Who was the young man wearing the linen sheet who ran off naked? Twentieth-century scholar Morton Smith claimed to have discovered a document, called “The Secret Gospel of Mark,” that shed light on this story.
