You will be creating a project of your own choosing.

The project must describe events or circumstances that will happen in the future.

The project must be written or read using both the Futur Simple and Futur Proche.

You may do a live skit, a video, or a poster presentation.

You must have at least 5 minutes worth of content to present.

Your presentation must not exceed 7 minutes in length.

You may work in a group with up to 4 people.

You must hand in a written copy of your script that has been proof read by everyone in the group. You will be marked on spelling, verb conjugation and overall presentation.

Some ideas may include a sports news broadcast about upcoming playoff predictions, a comedy piece or a skit about something that will happen in the future, a presentation on upcoming Summer plans, a video scenario, a newspaper article on the upcoming plans for the new majority Conservative government (i.e. poster board), or any other idea you would like.

You could also do a presentation on your future plans, a skit involving a School Counsellor helping a student to decide on what they would like to do in the future, a story about Aliens that will be coming to attack earth in the future.... you get the idea, make it interesting, make it fun, make sure you include as much Futur Proche and Futur Simple as possible and that you use it in the correct format and in the correct context.

Futur Proche = "Close Futur" = something about to happen very soon

Futur Simple = Something that will be happening later on in the futur

La Poésie et Le Passé Composé

Jacques Prévert:

"Déjeuner du matin"

Il a mis le café

Dans la tasse

Il a mis le lait

Dans la tasse de café

Il a mis le sucre

Dans le café au lait

Avec la petite cuiller

Il a tourné

Il a bu le café au lait

Et il a reposé la tasse

Sans me parler

Il a allumé

Une cigarette

Il a fait des ronds

Avec la fumée

Il a mis les cendres

Dans le cendrier

Sans me parler

Sans me regarder

Il s'est levé

Il a mis

Son chapeau sur sa tête

Il a mis son manteau de pluie

Parce qu'il pleuvait

Et il est parti

Sous la pluie

Sans une parole

Sans me regarder

Et moi j'ai pris

Ma tête dans ma main

Et j'ai pleuré.
