Teacher-guided: Top-down approach
Teachers prepare and prompt student participation
use of a variety of different prompts and cues to get all students engaged in the learning process
Teachers are advised against giving the students the answers or missing parts
use cues and questions to further the students thinking process
This process requires more time than teacher directed learning
Teachers may choose to create small groups of student to better help discussion and learning
