In the videos below, an example of indirect instruction in the elementary classroom is shown. Critical thinking skills are employed when students are asked questions and given time to think of their answers before responding. Students respond with visual stimuli and motivated to learn through the use of jellybeans, extending their learning of math beyond paper and pencils and into the "real world."
