Limitations and Benefits

This method works best when teachers are giving new information that students probably don't know yet. It is good for learning tactics such as repetition that help students remember facts. However, it is limited in that students typically don't employ critical thinking skills with such methods. This can lead to boredom and/ or off-task behaviors.
