Re. St ANDREW'S CHURCH. .........."When their organ packed up, Dad lent them his own one - then if he wanted a play he would go on up there and sit in the cold blasting out hymns!
The big window got shipped off to Japan or some such corner of the world I believe..........

Re. "THE BUILDINGS" on LOCHEND ROAD .................."Lochend road houses were getting their toilets built on. We used to play with the bricks while they were heaped in the yard. The boy on top is Douglas Robinson, I am the small girl walking towards the camera, Irene Pember is the tall dark haired girl, Lilian Waddell is 3rd from left looking at camera - not sure about the others, Georgie Henry might be one.....
