The Tour du Mont Blanc or TMB is one of the most popular long-distance walks in Europe. It circles the Mont Blanc massif, covering a distance of roughly 170 kilometres (110 mi) with 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) of ascent/descent and passes through parts of Switzerland, Italy and France. We will do the walk over 12 days with a buffer day built in. Starting at Les Houches and travelling anti-clockwise, a typical day will involve a 16km walk and 1000m ascent. Maximum altitude is 2584m. A map of the walk is available at Tour de Mont Blanc Wandermap
