Kimberleys

Date: 21 June - 12 July 2014 Participants: This trip is being led by Linda G. of the Canberra Bushwalking Club

Route Description: From Kununnurra, local transport to Argyle Dam and then by boat to Revolver Creek. Walk west and north through the spectacular Carr Boyd ranges, back to the dam wall in 8 days. Back to Kununurra for the nights of 29 and 30 June. Then by local transport, via Wyndham and the King River Road, to the Cockburn Ranges. 9 days exploring the Cockburn's two massifs, and its gorges and waterholes. All off track and very rocky underfoot. Will be followed by a commercial canoeing trip for 2–3 days in the Ord River Gorge from 10–13 July.
