Marc Mellits

Marc Mellits (b.1966), who studied at Eastman, Yale and Cornell, is on the music faculty of Le Moyne College in Syracuse. Considered a leading American composer of his generation, his award-winning works enjoy frequent performances in North America and Europe. He counts the minimalists Steve Reich and Philip Glass among his influences, along with the rock and funk music of his childhood. More at http://www.marcmellits.com/
