Values Based Practice: in practice

The previous session highlighted a worry that Values Based Practice could not be the last word on values because we need to know why we should adopt it. That is, what is its value? But that is not to say that it is not an important part of how we can think of the role of values in healthcare. In this session, we will get a taste of how the approach works by seeing the range of values that might be involved and the difference between personal values and the values of institutions.
