Development of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) benchmarking system in Hong Kong

Brief:

IAQ Benchmarks evaluated from the average fractional dose of CO2, RSP and TVOC exposure levels were proposed. This study is to evaluate its feasibility of IAQ representation.

Star-values to grade two office cases. First, to certify the one-star and five star-star offices and compared if the benchmarks correctly distinguish offices with satisfactory IAQ from the unsatisfactory ones. Second, to benchmark Grade A offices where good environment is expected and examine the benchmark result consistency.

the proposed benchmarks could generally give consistent results with both the full IAQ certification scheme and in grade A offices; this measure is representative general IAQ in office and could be considered as a IAQ indicator. Or similar.
