Childhood Mental Health Problems That Shouldn’t Be Missed
From the series” I want you to know what I know.”
Mental Health Problems that Shouldn’t be Missed and their Treatments
Putting together this list I realized that childhood problems presented in three categories (1.)Problems that required clarification, (2.) Actual Mental Heath Disorders that could be considered minor, (3.)Mental Health Disorders that are or could become severe. The focus on this series is on early detection and treatment of problems that have a biological basis, especially those where a medication intervention if adequate may offer symptomatic relief, stop progression to more serious problems and disorders, ensure remission, and prevent relapses and complications. Sometimes these medication responses not only do these things but also offer a better quality of life and can be life saving, thus it is crucial to correctly screen for and understand these problems and the possible medication treatments because especially in childhood and adolescence there is so much more to gain and lose.
